"Lamonte" meets "Raymone"

First new fishie to add to the tank? Our Valentini Puffer replacement. A little bigger than the last one "Puffy" :(
He is very cute though and very interactive...he and the Wrasse don't even really notice each other. Is it ever nice to be able to add fish to this tank again...we'll go slow that is for sure! And make sure that all the fish are doing well for a couple of weeks at Ken and Linny's before we add them.....

Overflow?

We bought an overflow box today....our tank is not drilled so we bought one of these acrylic things that you hook up to a sump (we have one of those for it...) pump the water back up and BINGO-no more scum on the surface of the water! Looks good! Bit noisy and needs some tweeking from Ken but it does the job! This tank will be back to the beauty it was....and algae??? What algae. I gotta say it sure taught me a lesson in cleaning my tank properly. Every night the tanks get turkey basted, scraped etc. No scrimping unless we are away. Also bought a couple of new friends for downstairs. I think that tank is almost maxed out! Now lets start adding fish to this one again!

I told you not to pick on them

We "peeled" an anemone off the mushroom rock downstairs tonight...he was threatening the mushrooms, we warned him...didn't listen well so we PEELED..no really peeled, him off the rock, stuck him in a yogurt container, acclimated him and into the 50g upstairs. I hope he makes it...the velvet is gone. Even though it would not have affected him....lets hope he lives!
